Part-Time Office Assistant (20 hours per week – salary £20,000 per annum pro-rata)
Reporting to Office Manager
Location – Midland Counties Athletic Association Office, (MCAA) Hagley Road,
(near to Five Ways) Edgbaston, Birmingham
Key Functions; –
Respond to inquiries via telephone and email. Direct more complicated questions to the appropriate staff, Office Manager, or volunteer member.
Record messages where appropriate.
Manage the ‘front desk’. Assist the public with inquiries.
Providing general administrative support including but not limited to data entry, maintaining, and updating files/records, and general filing.
Assist with the organisation of events in the office and at our events as required.
Together with other staff members ensure the office is a safe, tidy, and welcoming place to work. This list is not exhaustive
Any other duties as requested by the Office Manager, Chairman, or Hon. Secretary. This will include supporting the various committees as requested by the Office Manager.

Requirements for the position.
Strong customer relations skills.
Good IT skills.
Word Processing Proficiency.
Knowledge of web page updates would be desirable but not essential
Familiar with Word and Excel.
Written and verbal communication ability.
Eye for detail and commitment to the fulfilment of all projects.
Information and analysis and decision-making skills.
3-5 years experience in the administration field.
Ideally a strong interest in athletics.
